This is the Ginger Software, an online software which checks the grammatical and spelling errors in text documents. This
is helpful for Bloggers, students, employees, office workers and all for those
who use to write the documents. After installing this on your computer, you can
use it anywhere. I mean it works everywhere. You can use it in Microsoft Office
files, WordPad or NotePad, Browsers, Social Sites and even in the post editor.

Ginger
provides an automatic spell checker, assisting people with learning
difficulties such as dyslexia to improve their writing skills, through an

A. HOW TO USE THIS SOFTWARE?
- Download the Ginger Software for Free onto your computer. It will ask you to register and then installs the program. There is a short Demo on the home page of how the program works.
- Open
Microsoft Word. You don’t have to open the Ginger Software; it’s integrated
into Word now.
- type as usual. To start, click on the green Ginger Icon. It will ask you to log in by putting your username and pasword that you entered when you set up your free account.
- a list of sentences and choices will come up at the top of the screen.
B. Why use Ginger Software when word has a built in spelling and grammar check?
Microsoft
Word doesn’t always catch all spelling errors like this example shown below.
The word eye and cud are both spelled incorrectly in the context of this
sentence, but Word only recognized “no” and “anser.”
- Using Ginger Software, a student who may have dyslexia is able to write a sentence and then listen to their writing. This enables them to decide if what they have composed is correct. If they are not sure, they are able to choose a word from the list of alternative choices

D. The Disadvantages of Using Ginger Software
- When you install it, it takes too long.
- Although this system makes the application more potent, it also requires an extra flow of data between your computer and these servers. Moreover, the application becomes absolutely useless without Internet connection.
- It slows down your typing speed. Although a solution is to run Ginger only when you have finished typing, this will prevent you from benefiting from while-you-type correction.
